BlackBone was created to offer a better way to explore the outdoors one that values stewardship, authenticity, and long-term impact over volume and hype.

who we are
BlackBone Outfitters was founded in 2024 by two Florida natives and college roommates, Anthony Scalisi and Ethan Architetto, united by a shared obsession with the water and a vision for something better in fishing travel. Inspired by Maverick, Anthony's wife's beloved dog and his namesake blackbone toy, the brand was built to give anglers of every level access to the world's greatest fisheries through fully managed, end-to-end trip planning. Every partner in their portfolio is personally vetted by the founders, who remain active on the water themselves, with Anthony on the flats of the Everglades and South Florida and Ethan on the offshore and inshore grounds of Grand Bahama, where his family is originally from. BlackBone exists to deliver personal, impactful fishing experiences worldwide, working only with the best in the industry, on every trip, every time.
